It was good. Worth watching.
Besides the sex scenes, I think the action and visuals were so entertaining that I didn't mind the cliche storyline. Although to be honest the storyline and directing wasn't bad either. I never felt like "wow that's so cheesy" once through the movie.
If you can, watch it in IMAX 3-D. Regular 3-D was a disappointment (I watched an imax 2 months ago and my expectations are high)
EDIT: Oh yeah, it was a long movie. So make sure you use the restroom beforehand!

Hmm? I hear Sherlock Holmes was good but if you watch House (the TV show) it's like the same thing.
I admit the previews didn't look THAT good...

yeah saw both movies a while ago...
agree that Sherlock Holmes could have been great but never really got there.... not worth shelling out the money for in theatres but maybe worth it for dvd to watch
I really liked Avatar... saw it in regular 3d... the CGI and effects were pretty damn cool...
